Growing up in New York City, I was always surrounded by the regular hustle and bustle of the city. Continuously searching for quiet, peace and tranquility within the concrete jungle. As a treat, my mother would send me away on vacation to the Dominican Republic every year. During those vacations, I distinctly remember the conversations my grandfather and I enjoyed, as we spent time with one another. He talked to me about the value of your word, the importance of true friendship and his passion for inclusion. He taught me these aspects, by sharing much about his life and his purpose. To create an environment that fosters good memories and exchange of ideas among like-minded people. He shared his love for his craft, which was in agriculture. And, to this day, I can recall many of his sayings and teachings.
This is what caused me to create MFR Cigars. It is not a company for me. But, a movement within society, to bring us back together and share common ground. And, today, more than ever, we need to find our way back to each other, as one human race. To meet, exchange and create good memories.
